Due to our concern for the health and safety of our church family and surrounding area and according to the Governmental recommendations concerning how we should respond to the current Coronavirus Epidemic, Lighthouse Baptist Church has instituted the following actions to be enacted immediately through March 29th. These actions may change if necessary and may be extended as needed.
Our Facilities
As always, Lighthouse Baptist Church strives to make every effort to assure the facilities are clean and safe.
Office Schedule
The offices of Lighthouse Baptist Church and Lighthouse Christian School will be monitored but will be essentially closed to the public.
Service Schedule
The main services (Sunday 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. also Wednesday evening 7:00 p.m.) consisting of the main message will be held for approximately 1 hour and live-streamed from the main auditorium over the internet on our webpage (www.lighthousebap.org) and our facebook page (facebook.com/lbcgreateryork). We encourage everyone to make use of these opportunities. Youth Ablaze will livestream separately on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. at facebook.com/lbcyouthablaze. The auditorium will be open during the service times for those who do not have access to the service electronically and wish to attend personally.
Children Activities: There will be no children services or nurseries provided.
Programs: There will be NO Youth Ablaze on the church property (Wed. service live-streamed), Lighthouse Kids Klub, Seasoned Saints and Reformers Unanimous.
Transportation
There will be No Bus Service for services until further notice.
Lighthouse Christian School
Lighthouse Christian School will be closed until further notice. We will continue to abide by government agency requirements. Continue to monitor for updates.
During our stay at home order students may not come in to the Learning Center to score their work. All students can send their work to the appropriate teacher for scoring via email and continue to move forward in their work. If you have any questions about who you are to contact for that, please call Dr. Walsh at 717-792-4124. Upon completion of PACE work, new PACEs can be retrieved from the cooler by the church office door. Kindergarten and first grade students can pick up work in this cooler as well. You will be notified when it is available.
