If you would like to stop wondering about your eternity and would like to know for sure that you will go to Heaven when your time on this earth is done, then what you need to do is to pray and receive the gift that God has provided for you, then you too can live, In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began (Titus 1:2). Pray this prayer to God and mean it with all your heart:
Dear God, I know that I am a sinner and I know that because of my sin, I deserve death and Hell. But I believe that Jesus died and paid for all my sin, past, present and future, and that He rose again the third day proving they were all paid for. Right now, the best I know how, I accept the death of Jesus, by the shedding of His blood on the cross, as full payment for my sin and I am trusting Him, alone, for my salvation. Dear Jesus, forgive me of all my sin, come into my heart and give me a home in Heaven. Thank you for saving me.
If you prayed that prayer and meant it with all your heart, the Bible says that God saved you. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13). Your salvation is a gift of God and God will never take it back, He promised: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. I and my Father are one (John 10:28-29).
When God saved you, He not only gave you eternal life, but in Christ you also have access to all that you will ever need to have victory in your life over sin and all of its destruction. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4). …We are more than conquerors through him that loved us (James 8:34). I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me (Philippians 4:13).
Victory comes as God teaches us and enables us to live by the truths of the Word of God. You should grow in faith. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). You should be baptized letting others know of your new life in Christ. Then they that gladly received his word were baptized (Acts 2:41). You should regularly attend a Bible-believing, gospel-preaching church and learn the word of God. Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching (Hebrews 10:25).
