Ben and Wendy have worked in ministry for their entire 35 years of marriage. Four years ago, they stepped out on faith into full-time evangelism, helping churches in various capacities such as revivals, missions conferences, men’s and ladies events, marriage conferences, and addiction recovery programs. Prior to this, they worked primarily in addiction recovery for over 20 years. Her husband has served in various ministries as assistant pastor, bus director, children’s pastor, senior pastor, and International Director of RU Recovery ministries. In recent years, Ben and Wendy have been an integral part of the “Bridge Crew”, helping to develop the Bridge to Recovery Program. Over the years, Wendy has taught in their church’s Bible College, Junior High Girls in SS, Ladies Bible Study, and as well as served in ladies ministries, nursery, AWANA program, and was a group leader in the addiction recovery program.

Wendy met her husband at Bible college where they both served on the same bus route. So as the Lord allows, ministry has always been, and will always be, a part of their lives.

Wendy loves her titles of wife, mom, and Nana – currently (and for the past four years) her most favorite role. She also loves to read and has authored five books, and is hoping to write more as she deeply desires to encourage women to develop or deepen a personal, intimate relationship with Jesus. She echoes the Prophet Jeremiah, “Mine eye affecteth mine heart because of all the daughters of my city.” (Lamentations 3:51) Today, Wendy speaks at many ladies events as she shares the experiences and lessons that God has given her throughout her life. She has many favorite verses, regularly having a new one, but Psalm 37 has always been a favorite chapter for her with one verse God continually uses to direct her steps:
“Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.” (Psalms 37:4)
