Susanah became a follower of Christ as a young child. In her teen years she developed a personal relationship with Him and knew He was calling her to serve Him with her life. Susanah married her high school sweetheart over 23 years ago. They spent their first 10 years of marriage serving on staff at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church followed by another 10 years of serving Jesus at Lancaster Baptist Church. They returned to Chico August of 2022, when her husband was voted in as pastor. They have four adventurous children. Two daughters in college, and a son and daughter in high school.

This past year, Susanah faced an unexpected and challenging journey when she was diagnosed with cancer. Through this trial, her faith has been tested and strengthened. Her story is one of hope, trust, and the incredible faithfulness of God in all seasons of life.

Susanah loves all things sweet, especially her friends and coffee. Her favorites are contrastingly outdoor activities, and quiet moments at home. It thrills her heart when God teaches her new truths and it gives her great joy to share those practical truths with other ladies.
